Ruth Clavis

Managing Director

Coming from senior management role with a significant Australasian home appliance business Ruth joined the recruitment industry in 1992. Initially with Morgan and Banks as a specialist she then spent 11 years with Pohlen Kean.  Initially she recruited senior appointments across a range of disciplines and industries. Her last two years there was as General Manager Recruitment leading a team of up to eight consultants.

Pip Kempthorne

Director

Pip Kempthorne joined the executive recruitment industry in 1981 as a recruitment consultant with Lampen Associates Limited. Pip and three other partners conducted an MBO of Lampen Associates in 1982, which led to an Australasian merger in 1985.

Howard Chaffey

Director

Howard Chaffey brings a wealth of human resource experience with a recruiting career that commenced in 1990; he has managed one of the largest sales and marketing recruiting teams in New Zealand while maintaining his own high profile in advertised recruitment and in investigative search assignments.

Patrick Merrick

Director

Patrick has a particularly strong background in the recruitment of senior finance people and significant search experience in locating and attracting to NZ internationally based academics. After more than a decade of recruiting Patrick has successfully completed search projects across most industries sectors and job functions.

Jane Walker

Jane has a well-established track record in the recruitment industry in both Wellington and Auckland. Her initial involvement in recruitment was as a consultant and then senior manager with Morgan and Banks, before establishing a highly successful consulting group in Wellington in 1996.
